about michelle schneider, fun & artistic photographer of kids & familiesI am Michelle Schneider, a full-time, stay-at-home mom to 4 cutie patooties. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago & loved my childhood. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point & graduated with an Interior Architecture major & an Art minor. I really found a love for photography while working in a dark room & found myself adding more classes just to use my camera. After working for a while in Chicago at a couple interior design firms, I married & moved to my husband’s work locale up here in Neenah, WI. I have been living here for 10 years now & enjoy this area. I do make it back to my home in IL about once a month, since I am a family oriented person & it was in the marriage agreement to do so! Therefore, I am expanding my new Patooties business to not only the Fox Valley area in WI but down to the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I can easily meet clients on my way down! I decided to stay at home when I had kids because my husband & I really wanted that. It has been nice & to be honest - very challenging at times… I always keep busy with a project here & there, volunteering at school, & being crafty & artsy in any way possible. I bring my camera everywhere & started giving some prints to friends for fun. After some people kept saying I should do some of this for a career - make a job out of what I LOVE… I became convinced that I maybe could. I took my love for creating cute things for my kids, giving some to friends & family as gifts, & combined it with my love for capturing EVERYTHING on film (well now digital) & VOILA! I always am calling my kids cutie patooties… so that’s where I got the name for this new business/love of mine. Please know that I am just out to enjoy myself, while making a little income for my family at the same time. Creating unique, custom gifts & taking photos of your kids & families is a great way to outlet my inner creativeness while happily servicing you! I enjoy capturing the little things in life, the wonderment in young, little faces & the beauty that is all around us. Thanks for taking the time to visit my website! Take care & please remember to do what you love, the rest will always fall into place! ~ Michelle |
